Big Decision Of Central Goverment, Increase in Budget of Union Territory of Ladakh by 6 times

Taking an important step, the central government has increased the budget of Ladakh by six times.  A budget of Rs 1172 crore was allocated for Ladakh in 2018-19, which has now been increased to Rs 5958 crore in 2020-21 (applicable from the date of formation of Union Territory).  This information has been given on Friday (7 August) from the office of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

On August 5, a year has passed since the abolition of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.  On August 5 last year, the Center abolished the special provision provided to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution and divided the state into two Union Territories - Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.

On the other hand, in Jammu and Kashmir, the government is also involved in winning the hearts of people by focusing on the development front. Six thousand acres of government land has been marked to apply the industry in terms of employment. 168 MoUs of about Rs 13600 crores have been signed. In the last one year, seven centers have been claimed by the Jammu Kashmir administration claim to complete 100 percent targets. Claiming the one-year achievements, it has been said that 50 new degree colleges have been started and 25 thousand new seats are attached to college. Kupwara is becoming a hub of organic farming. Women are getting work around the new center of the skills.
